One In a Lifetime Experience at Sassoon Hospital..

Distributing blankets from 9:00 pm to 4:00am in Hadpsar ,khadki, pune station , bhavani peth, swargate ; 'Changle vichaar' team was about to return . suddenly there was a call from Amol ." Please come at sasoon hospital. A blind boy's leg is fractured. We have contributed few rupees near municipality." The call ended...

I , Nilesh and harshal bhaiya took our bikes ..we were about to return. But there was a call from samta didi ,"The case is serious..come as soon as possible." My heart came in my mouth..a cycle started in my mind. What were we going to do and what happened ! Someone under the wheel ? Or something else must have happened ? One heart was saying that someone may have helped but the other heart was under tension. 

As we entered sasoon , there was a sense of relief.

Actually what had happened was..

Changle vichar team along with samta didi was wandering at the municipal corporation road, finding someone needy for Blanket donation. When they were returning they saw 3 youngsters near the divider .The car went  forward...but  some doubt was disturbing samta didi , may be the trio was blind .She took a U turn.They were actually blind  and trying to hire an auto or a car.Many vehicles passed but not even one person thought about them? No one asked them what happened? We punekars have become so inhumane ?

One of the three named laxmikant's right leg got caught in a pit and the other two were trying to put it right..As soon as the team realised this, chaitanya took him to the sasoon hospital via auto.( His friends were advising us to take him to mangeshkar hospital.)The auto driver didn't charge .We urged him to but he expressed , "As a human this is my duty "

We had a common outlook that government hospitals don't act fast.But we experienced something different.

Doctors showed enthusiasm and within seconds he removed his leg dislocation. Everyone was tensed and eager to see the x-ray reports .The reports were normal . We took a deep breath. Thereafter we took him to ambedkar hostel and departed him.

Now we have 4 friends with special vision . Before some time got call from Amol and Vidyadhar  that laxmikant was feeling well.He was continuously thanking us. As he was cured free, he was telling us to accept money from him.I was touched seeing his honesty.I had tears in my eyes.

Only because of Samta dii,amol , chaitanya ,supriya (changle vichar team) and laxmikant's friends' timely decisions , his leg was saved from being fractured .

I had a different experience of the Auto driver , government hospital , their workers .I realized that if we take a good step we meet many taking such good steps..

Also while we were donating blankets we experienced something good.

Nilesh commented 'There are some rich people whose wants never end .But there are people who are satisfied with their small comforts and refuse to accept any type of donations. Instead they also try to help others.There was a old man sleeping under bhide bridge near a small temple .(He had a worn out blanket )He refused our Blanket.We told him that he can use it for sitting but he said that he already has one.In such intense cold, beneath clear sky ,sitting on a small bench actually preached the theory of life....
